God’s Love vs. The World’s Love – Which One Are You Chasing?

Sis, we need to talk.

Valentine’s Day is here, and while some of y’all are swimming in roses and chocolates, others are refreshing their phones, wondering why he hasn’t texted yet. Listen, I get it. The world makes love feel like a performance—like you have to be chosen, good enough, or worthy enough to receive it.

But that’s NOT how God’s love works. Let’s break it down:

The World’s Love:

Based on conditions – “I love you if you do this for me.”

Fickle – One minute you’re “everything,” the next minute they’re ghosting.

Performance-based – You have to earn it, fight for it, and prove yourself worthy.

Can leave you feeling drained, anxious, and never enough.

God’s Love:

Unconditional – “I have loved you with an everlasting love” (Jeremiah 31:3).

Secure – Never wavering, never leaving.

Freely Given – You don’t have to strive for it.

Fills you up, strengthens you, and reminds you of your worth.

Conservation Through Tracking

Tracking plays a crucial role in wildlife conservation and research. By understanding animal movements and behaviors, conservationists can make informed decisions about habitat protection, anti-poaching efforts, and the management of endangered species. Tracking can also help in the study of animal migrations, breeding patterns, and the impacts of climate change on various species.

Romans 8:38-39 reminds us that NOTHING can separate us from God’s love—not your past, not your bad decisions, not even your worst heartbreak. Meanwhile, the world’s love? It can disappear over a simple misunderstanding.

So, Sis…Which Love Are You Chasing?

Are you spending your time, energy, and emotions trying to prove your worth to people who don’t even know what real love is? Or are you standing in the unshakable truth that God already called you His, no conditions attached?
